Mr & Mrs Nguyen generously lent their voices to 'Winds of Angkor' last month, by recording voiceovers for the upcoming documentary, in Los Angeles. Their own story of escaping from Vietnam, is one of courage and devotion to family. We thank them for bringing their personal experience and sincerity to the production.

Kanilen Kang joins 'Winds...' family!
Actress Kanilen Kang recorded a voice-over for the upcoming documentary 'Winds of Angkor - Journey to Cambodia' at Jackalope Studios in Altadena today. Kanilen starred in the film 'Road to Freedom' - the film directed by Brendan Moriaty about two photo-journalists who disappeared during the Khmer Rouge regime. Born and raised in Cambodia, Kanilen moved to Los Angeles ten years ago. We're all thrilled that she agreed to be part of the production. Thanks Kanilen!!

Help needed for our children's choir!
One of the highlights of our 2010 production in Cambodia was when we were joined on stage by the children of Seametrey Children's Village. They touched our hearts, and inspired us all with their enthusiasm, sweet voices and gentle smiles. Sadly the property lease has not been renewed so the school has to re-locate. Please consider helping these remarkable children as they construct a new school and continue their education. As anyone who has visited Cambodia will know, even the smallest donation will go very far, and they've already reached over 50% of their goal!

We remember His Majesty the King Father of Cambodia, Norodom Sihanouk whose death is mourned by the Cambodian people today. We were honoured to be given special permission by members of the Cambodian Royal Family, to play His Majesty's music as guests arrived for the Festival performance of 'Winds of Angkor'. Music and memories live on.
